broadband services these days are getting and cheaper and faster too, very soon we would have an affordable Gigabit internet .

Modem Fees is not charged Ritesh, its complimentary with this connection.. Also you can avail a discount of 20% if the connection is on name of Govt. Employee.

I just found out that apart from the massive amount of Rs9999/- there is also Modem Fees + Installation Charges + Tax + BSNL Connection.

What the Heck!!!

I am good with my Airtel Broadband, it even give me free calling atleast.

its the max speed and those living near the exchange can experience much better speeds which may upto 24 Mbps…
You may get a better service if u bribe a 100 INR to the local exchange guy Diwali/Holi
