For Tomb Raider Fans, WindowsVJ has released an unofficial Tomb Raider themepack for Windows 7.

The Tomb Raider 9 themepack for Windows 7 includes over 20 action packed desktop wallpapers in a high-resolution featuring our favorite heroine Lara Croft.

The themepack has been customized with a mud color appearance for Windows and a logon sound matching the TR9 theme music.

Angry Birds!!  A puzzle video game developed by Finland-based Rovio Mobile which was first released for Apple’s iOS in December 2009. Since its launch this game has seen over 12 million copies of been purchased from Apple’s app store which has stimulated the company to design versions for other platforms too. Recently Chrome was given a version for Angry Birds and was announced in Google I/O Conference in May 2011.

The game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now", "one of the great runaway hits of 2010",and "the largest mobile app success the world has seen so far". Primarily aimed at mobile devices, this game is now available for Windows users as well. The game has trended too many times on Twitter & Google and was one of the hottest topics in recent times.

TipsoTricks have released Angry Birds v1.5.1. This version includes a (5th) new episode, named “HAM ‘EM HIGH’ with 45 new levels.

It’s a normal installer file and installs when you execute it. It can be easily uninstalled from the “Program & features” in control panel of Windows 7.

“The Mole” — a favorite Ars Technica source for all things game related — has some curiosity-piquing info on the possibility of a Resident Evil 5-themed Xbox 360 headed to market. So says the site’s Deep Throat, not only will a demo version of the game come to US Xboxen first (a move that must seriously unnerve Sony), but following the sneak-peak will be an RE5 package hardcore fans should die for. Literally. According to Ars, the bundle will include a custom red Xbox (with matching controller), a copy of Resident Evil 5, a special NXE RE5 theme, and a bonus Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD download. Of course, this is pure rumor right now, but if this package comes to fruition, we can bet on at least a few zombie-loving members of the Engadget staff getting in line when it hits shelves. Make it happen, people.
