As Google mentions, “The +1 button is shorthand for this is pretty cool or you should check this out.” However what I personally think it is a hybrid of Digg and Facebook Like this feature.

The concept involved is whenever a user Google (searches using Google), he can plus one (recommend) a link amongst his search. A user need to Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval or recommendation. User’s +1′s can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

If you are signed into a Google account, you can +1 things over the web specifically the Google search. This helps people see who recommended that tasty recipe or great campsite. When you create a profile, it’s visible to anyone and connections with your email address can easily find it.

Your +1’s are stored in a new tab on your Google profile. You can show your +1’s tab to the world, or keep it private and just use it to personally manage the ever-expanding record of things you love around the web.

To enable Internet Sharing of USB Modem in Windows 7, follow the steps:

1. Navigate to system tray click on the arrow button to show the list of available processes and tasks.

2. Select the Internet access from the list available and click on Open Network & sharing Center. (You may also reach here via Control Panel)

3. From the Left side pane, select manage Wireless Networks

4.Select the Add option in the Manage Wireless Networks Window.

5. From the Manually connect to a wireless network pop up window, select Create an Ad hoc network.

6. Click next after reading details about wireless ad-hoc network.

7. Configure Ad-hoc network. Enter desired network name, security type and security key.

8. Make sure you select an encryption type. Make the security type WEP and password protect it using 5 or 13 character key.

9. Click on Turn on Internet Connection sharing to share the internet.

10. Internet Sharing is enabled. Press Okay to proceed. You have now enabled WiFi connection from your laptop available to other users.

To connect to your system’s internet one must simply locate and select the network just created and connect using the encryption security key as entered.

11. Once done, you may remove the adhoc network from Manage Wireless networks window.

Caution: Make sure you don’t leave the authentication open in security key as any one may connect to your Internet and might misuse it.

With effect from 1 March 2011, you are required to comply with the requirements set out in the notification of the Reserve Bank of India governing the processing and settlement of export-related receipts facilitated by online payment gateways ("RBI Guidelines").
In order to comply with the RBI Guidelines, our user agreement in India will be amended for the following services as follows:

1. Any balance in and all future payments into your PayPal account may not be used to buy goods or services and must be transferred to your bank account in India within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services; and
2. Export-related payments for goods and services into your PayPal account may not exceed US$500 per transaction.

We seek your understanding as we continue to employ our best efforts to comply with the RBI Guidelines in a timely manner.

This mail certainly declares that PayPal in India is close to dead. The stricter guidelines from Reserve Bank of India ensures a PayPal user does not make payments via PayPal to someone, the money should first be transferred to PayPal using your bank’s credit card. Also, all money received into PayPal must be transferred to your Indian bank account within 7 days.

The reasons which must have enforced such stricter guidelines must include tax theft from the Government of India by those who are not showing PayPal income in their Income Tax returns. Once your PayPal account money is transferred to your Bank account, your account may be monitored by RBI easily. However this is a setback to small businesses in India (SBI’s).

So If you have loads of PayPal dollars just go spendthrift this season and spend as much as you can before the Calender hits the deadline of 1st March, 2011.

Printing of emails and various books in companies have been restricted and advised to use wisely and only if necessary.  Continuing the momentum a WWF format has been released which is a PDF that cannot be printed out. It is technically very similar to the PDF format, with the key exception that in WWF documents can not be printed as the print option is completely blocked to avoid unnecessary printing.

Thus to save trees and help the environment to stop unnecessary printing and to encourage a new awareness about the use of paper, World Wide Fund has developed a new, green file format: WWF. A format that can’t be printed out.

How To Use:

The WWF software will install a "SAVE AS WWF" option in the print menu. Just install the software, select this option and the document is saved in WWF format.

WWF documents can be opened with most programs that can open PDFs like (Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader) and can be e-mailed like any other.

In a webcast @ Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of Facebook announced a messaging service coined as ‘Facebook Social Messaging’ which he introduces as not e-mail, but modern messaging which is said to be seamless, informal, immediate, personal, simple and minimal.  With over 550 million users, Facebook has been in news from quiet a few days. First it was a Columbia production “The Social Network” a movie based on how Facebook born, that propelled the heat about Facebook and a few days later the announcement of the Facebook mail (Project Titan) which was earlier perceived as a Gmail Killer.

Facebook Email or Messaging services integrates all your conversations into a single place. Every user gets a @Facebook.com Email ID  and its going to be your username@facebook.com and the messaging service would be informal enough to clutter out  subject lines, no cc, no bcc, etc. Just send a message by hitting the Enter key. The new Messages interface also interweaves your chats, texts and emails. It’s a central place to control all of your private communication, both on and off Facebook. Now when you view a conversation, you’re actually looking at a complete history of all the communication you’ve shared with that person on Facebook — it’s like having an ongoing record of your friendship.
