It is always good to have a back up of data especially the bookmarks in Firefox. Taking a back up of bookmarks is pretty simple process and basically there are two methods to back up your Firefox bookmarks;<\/p>\n<p>Method-1:<\/p>\n<p>Go to Bookmarks-&gt;Organize Bookmarks in the main menu.<\/p>\n<p>This will open up the <a id=\"KonaLink1\" class=\"kLink\" style=\"POSITION: static; TEXT-DECORATION: underline! important\" href=\"file:\/\/\/F:\/My%20Documents\/How%20to%20Back-Up%20Bookmarks%20in%20Firefox%20_%20-_%20Life%20Rocks!%202.0%20_-.htm#\" target=\"_top\">Bookmarks Manager<\/a> window. In this window you can see all the bookmarks saved.<br \/>\nGo to File-&gt;Export and save the file in the preferred location.<br \/>\nThe file will contain all your bookmarks and will be an .html file.<br \/>\nWhenever you install Firefox in another PC or re-install in your PC, you can import all the bookmarks through File-&gt;Import and select the option From File in the Bookmarks Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Method-2:<\/p>\n<p>Second method is directly taking a back up of the bookmarks.html file from the profile folder of the Firefox <a id=\"KonaLink2\" class=\"kLink\" style=\"POSITION: static; TEXT-DECORATION: underline! important\" href=\"file:\/\/\/F:\/My%20Documents\/How%20to%20Back-Up%20Bookmarks%20in%20Firefox%20_%20-_%20Life%20Rocks!%202.0%20_-.htm#\" target=\"_top\">application<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To do this navigate to this folder-<br \/>\nC:\\Documents and Settings\\\\Application Data\\Mozilla\\Firefox\\Profiles\\ati9z0wb.default<br \/>\nIn this folder you can find a <a id=\"KonaLink3\" class=\"kLink\" style=\"POSITION: static; TEXT-DECORATION: underline! important\" href=\"file:\/\/\/F:\/My%20Documents\/How%20to%20Back-Up%20Bookmarks%20in%20Firefox%20_%20-_%20Life%20Rocks!%202.0%20_-.htm#\" target=\"_top\">HTML file<\/a> by name bookmarks.html.<br \/>\nTake a copy of this file and paste it in the desired location.<br \/>\nThats it, next time if you install Firefox, import this file using the steps mentioned above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bookmarks is an easy way of remembering website we visit often.
