Apple has finally announced the Apple iPad<\/strong>. Apple\u2019s founder and CEO Steve Jobs announced this half-inch thick, 1.5 pounds, with a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display, and it’s running a custom 1GHz Apple "A4" chip with a 10-hour battery life and a month of standby. Jobs spoke specifically about creating a \u201cthird category of device\u201d one between the phone and the laptop. <\/p>\n
