They are small cell-sized graphics used to show trends in series of values by using line, column, or win\/loss charts. Sparklines allow the viewer to see in a single cell information-dense graphics that greatly increase reader comprehension of the data. Sparklines display mini-charts that can be placed inside cells in order to view the data and the chart on the same table. Before office 2010 all versions of Microsoft Excel, used third party add-ins to serve this purpose, but the Excel 2010 versions have embedded this functionality for the user\u2019s convenience.<\/p>\n<p>Creating a Sparkline for data : <\/p>\n<p>1. Populate&#160; data in the excel<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/image17.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; margin: 0px auto; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/image_thumb17.png\" width=\"484\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Go to the <em>Insert<\/em> option and choose your desired Sparkline from the <em>Sparklines<\/em> section. There are 3 types of Sparklines. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Line <\/li>\n<li>Column <\/li>\n<li>Win\/Loss <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/image18.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right-width: 0px; margin: 0px auto; display: block; float: none; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/image_thumb18.png\" width=\"597\" height=\"112\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Select a type of Sparkline<\/p>\n<p>4.
