There is a simple way to add date and time to PowerPoint slides. To Show Date and Time on a Slide in PowerPoint 2010 follow the steps:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">1. From the Ribbon, click <em>View<\/em> tab, and choose <em>Normal Presentation view<\/em> from Left Hand side Corner.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand1.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">2. From the left side pane, click the <em>Slides<\/em> tab, and select the first slide below. Selected slide will be highlighted.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand2.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">3. Then click the <em>Insert<\/em> tab\u00a0and go to <em>Text<\/em> group section and <em>click Date and Time<\/em> icon.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand3.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">4. This will launch another dialog box with two tabs <em>Slide<\/em>, <em>Notes and Handouts<\/em>. To add the date and time to your slides, click the <em>Slide<\/em> tab. To add the date and time to your notes pages, click the Notes and Handouts tab.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand4.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">5. Select the Slide tab to add the date and time to your slides. Check Date and time box, and select <em>Update automatically<\/em> or <em>Fixed<\/em> options to include the date in slides. Update automatically would make the date dynamic, changing and updating automatically while fixed, sets a particular date to be displayed every time in the slides.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand5.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">If you choose Update automatically, you can select the format of date and time from the drop down list.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/062110_2207_ShowDateand6.png\" alt=\"\"\/><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\"><br \/>\n\t\t<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Times New Roman; font-size:12pt\">6. To add date and time to all the slides, click Apply to All button.
