First it was a Columbia production \u201cThe Social Network\u201d a movie based on how Facebook born, that propelled the heat about Facebook and a few days later the announcement of the Facebook mail <strong>(Project Titan)<\/strong> which was earlier perceived as a <strong>Gmail Killer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/image18.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/image_thumb18.png\" width=\"636\" height=\"376\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Facebook Email or Messaging services integrates all your conversations into a single place. Every user gets a @Facebook.com Email ID&#160; and its going to be your <a href=\"mailto:username@facebook.com\">username@facebook.com<\/a> and the messaging service would be informal enough to clutter out&#160; subject lines, no cc, no bcc, etc. Just send a message by hitting the Enter key. The new Messages interface also interweaves your chats, texts and emails. It\u2019s a central place to control all of your private communication, both on and off Facebook. Now when you view a conversation, you\u2019re actually looking at a complete history of all the communication you\u2019ve shared with that person on Facebook \u2014 it\u2019s like having an ongoing record of your friendship. The messages services includes some of features like Attachments, adding people to group conversation, smart filtering which will allow to filter the messages according to your preferences and other such features.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/image19.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"image\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/image_thumb19.png\" width=\"644\" height=\"341\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>3 major features<\/strong> of Facebook\u2019s new messaging or Email service are: Seamless Messaging, Conversation History, and Social Inbox. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Seamless Messaging<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Real Time conversations<\/li>\n<li>People can share with friends over email, whether they\u2019re on Facebook or not. <\/li>\n<li>No subject lines, no cc, no bcc, and you can send a message by hitting the Enter key. <\/li>\n<li>More like a conversation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Conversation History<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All messages from a particular friend will be together in one place, whether they are sent over chat, email or SMS. <\/li>\n<li>You can see everything you\u2019ve discussed with each friend as a single conversation. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<p><strong>The Social Inbox<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inbox will only contain messages from your friends and their friends. <\/li>\n<li>All other messages will go into an Other folder where you can look at them separately.<\/li>\n<li>If someone you know isn\u2019t on Facebook, that person\u2019s email will initially go into the Other folder.<\/li>\n<li>You can easily move that conversation into the Inbox, and all the future conversations with that friend will show up there. <\/li>\n<li>You can also change your account settings to be even more limited and bounce any emails that aren\u2019t exclusively from friends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Facebook Messaging services are currently invitation based only.
