So there are only two ways to get Vista SP1 installed, but it take long time to install SP1 and terrible to install each n every time in fresh Windows Vista RTM. To solve this problem, I would like to thank vLite Developers and Community; they have released vLite with SP slipstream support and its simple tutorial that helps to slipstream SP in Windows Vista n build your Vista SP1 DVD.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">Requirements:<br \/><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:85%;\">Windows Vista RTM DVD<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/details.aspx?FamilyId=B0C7136D-5EBB-413B-89C9-CB3D06D12674\"><strong>Windows Vista SP1 offline update installer<\/strong><\/a> and most important thing is <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vlite.net\/download.html\"><strong>vLite<\/strong><\/a> (Windows Vista has in-built .Net Framework 2.0)<br \/>    For Windows XP<br \/>    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/downloads\/details.aspx?FamilyId=029196ED-04EB-471E-8A99-3C61D19A4C5A&amp;displaylang=en\">.Net Framework 2.0 (x86)<br \/>    .Net Framework 2.0 (x64)<\/a><br \/>    <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><strong>How to:<\/strong><br \/>1. First of all, install vLite and copy all contents of DVD into HDD folder, say F:\\Vista<br \/>2. Now select the folder where Vista installation source has been copied (F:\\Vista)<br \/>3. Select the edition which is to be upgraded to SP1<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/i251.photobucket.com\/albums\/gg313\/ramesh_windows\/WinVista\/Capture1.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><br \/>4. Proceed Next and only select Service Pack Slipstream option.<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/i251.photobucket.com\/albums\/gg313\/ramesh_windows\/WinVista\/Capture2.jpg\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><br \/>By selecting Windows Vista SP1 offline update installer, extracting and slipstreaming process will be started and it\u2019ll take 60-90 mins to accomplish the task.<\/p>\n<p>5. After completion, create bootable DVD or image and get your Vista SP1 installed simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>(Only a single edition will be upgraded to SP1 at a time and to make complete Vista SP1\u2026.I mean, if you want to create all editions upgraded to SP1 disc. You have to follow the same process for each edition.)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>NOTE: Don\u2019t select any other option such as integration, components, tweaks etc when slip-streaming service pack. One more thing, don\u2019t remove any component from vLited Vista image because it may cause interrupted installation. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I have slip-streamed all editions into Vista DVD and tested\u2026all are working perfect.
