Also, this Beta has most of the features that would ship with the final version compared to the earlier Beta. Although few of the features may not be available and can be trimmed for the final build. The first thing you would notice and probably like, is the UI enhancements.&#160; Here below, is the launch screen. It is no more a typical rectangular shape screen,the curve at bottom beautifies the VS 2010 start up..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/image-thumb.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"image_thumb\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image_thumb\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/image-thumb-thumb.png\" width=\"449\" height=\"321\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Many changes have been applied to the start page, it can be completely customizeed since it is a XAML based UI.&#160; Start page is present itself as a Project at <strong><em>C:Program FilesMicrosoft Visual Studio 10.0Common7IDEStartPages<\/em><\/strong> once you install the Beta.&#160; It can further be modified or changed to reflect organization specific templates, document repositories etc.,&#160; Optionally you can even turn it off permanently, or, upon opening a project, using the checkbox options in the bottom left.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/image-thumb-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"image_thumb_1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image_thumb_1\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/image-thumb-1-thumb.png\" width=\"551\" height=\"330\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Now, with respect to web development, there are tons of enhancements.They may be seen here as well <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/vstudio\/dd441784.aspx \">website<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>navigating to \u201cFile \u2013 New \u2013 Project \u2013 ASP.NET Web Application\u201d template and creating a new web project provides a web template with a default Home Page and About Us page that you can use as-is \/ customize and get started with a skeleton layout immediately.
