Reset the folder options view<\/p>\n<p>Organize &gt; Folder &amp; search Options &gt; General &gt; Browse Folders &gt; Select <strong>\u201cOpen each folder in same windows\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"fo1\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo1-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"fo1\" width=\"429\" height=\"147\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Organize &gt; Folder &amp; search Options &gt; View &gt; uncheck <strong>Launch folder windows in a new process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"fo2\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo2-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"fo2\" width=\"323\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Open Registry editor by typing &#8220;<strong>regedit<\/strong>&#8221; in Run dialog box and hit enter.Navigate to the key <strong>&#8220;HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Directory\\shell&#8221;<\/strong>.\u00a0 On the right hand side pane there is a value named <strong>&#8220;Default&#8221;<\/strong> double-click on this value &amp; Set the value to &#8220;<strong>none<\/strong>&#8220;.\u00a0 Once you make this change, your folders should instantly be back to normal.You must start explorer (Restart\/Logoff) for changes to take effect.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px\" title=\"fo3\" src=\"http:\/\/windowsvj.com\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/fo3-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"fo3\" width=\"400\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a> 4.
