Recently Google has introduced a new service to search for the public profile available on the internet. It allows you to control how you appear on Google and tell others a bit more about who you are.
With Google Profile, you can easily share your web content on the central location including links to your blog, online photos, and other profiles such as Facebook, Orkut, Linkedln and lots more. You have control over what others see.
For a greater control over what people find when they search for your name, Google begun to show Google profile results at the bottom of U.S. name-query search pages.

Its getting better day by day.personally i believe this thing has its own pros and cons.it would definitely help people know each other better and would make the search easy and also connectivity would be better but its a threat to privacy as well.Who knows when you get a duplicate account of yourz online.so there must be a authority that certifies the pofile.
