Microsoft after releasing 4 platform (developer) previews of Internet Explorer 9.0 (Version 9.0.7930.16406) since first Quarter of 2010 has released first beta version of IE9 to public.
Its available for Windows Vista and 7 only. It does not supports any version of XP. Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are supported for Vista & Seven. IE9 Beta is available in total 33 languages.

- New User Interface
- New Download Manager
- Integration of Windows 7 features like Aero Snap, etc
- It allows you to pin websites to Windows 7 Taskbar
- It features a single menu for all menu items just like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera
- Addressbar and Searchbar have been combined
- It uses a new script engine codenamed "Chakra"
- It provides better support for several standards: HTML5, DOM, and CSS3
- It provides hardware-accelerated SVG support
