Facebook smileys and their chat emoticon codes are the text codes which when entered correctly into the input field of a Facebook chat get them changed for pictures of smiling, sad and other kinds of standard faces.
These smileys are very similar to one present in yahoo messenger, although just like Yahoo Messenger, the chat smileys in FB are not present in the chat box implicitly.
