Firefox 3.5 and above has a feature called omni bar, here in the address bar not just URL/Web address need to be entered but the search query can be entered as well and it would fetch the details from the Google search engine and would display to the webpage. This has been a feature in Google Chrome from its early versions.
Directly enter your Google Query in the address bar.
You would redirected to the webpage with the Google Search Results for the query entered.
